Level 2 Clinic
 

Big Dog Lacrosse's Level 2 Lacrosse Program is for GIRLS who want to take their skills to the next level. Through these training sessions, youth and parents will learn how to play lacrosse and have an understanding of lacrosse fundamentals.

We train in a "All Position, No Position" philosophy where all players learn all positions. Attack needs to know defense for rides during clears or turn-overs, Defense needs to know offense for clears and turn-overs

Prerequisite:
New players who passed the Level 1 clinic
Players with 4 years or more of experience

Skills Taught:
Offensive Skills

  • Advanced shooting
  • Off-ball movement
  • Screening/picks

Defensive Skills

  • Slides
  • Footwork
  • Communication
  • Stickwork

Equipment:
Players will need Full Equipment.
Equipment can be purchased at Play It Again Sports in the Belden Village area.

For the Lacrosse Player

Each youth player will complete this course with a knowledge of the basic skills needed to play lacrosse.
They will be instructed by a US Lacrosse certified instructor.
Players must pass assessment to advance to Level 2.

Grades 3-4: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Grades 5-6: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Grades 7-8: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Grades 9-12: 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
