Beginners Lacrosse Program
Big Dog Lacrosse's Beginners Lacrosse Program is for boys and girls who want to find out what lacrosse is about and learn the game. Through these training sessions, youth and parents will learn how to play lacrosse and have an understanding of lacrosse fundamentals.
These are for the player that has never played lacrosse before and wants to try the game. Big Dog Lacrosse is giving kids the opportunity to play the sport of lacrosse even in places where lacrosse is not currently available.

kids just trying the game, parents, players with limited playing experience.
players will need to provide a stick only.
Equipment can be purchased at Play It Again Sports in the Belden Village area.

For the Lacrosse Player
Each youth player will complete this course with a knowledge of the basic skills needed to play lacrosse.
They will be instructed by a US Lacrosse certified instructor.
The instructional lessons are for parents also. Come get a hands-on lesson in what the kids are doing on the field. Parents are encouraged to gain knowledge about the sport so they can play with their children at home and have the confidence to help them improve. The sessions are also designed to teach parents interested in getting involved in their local local team by serving as an assistant coach or in some other capacity.
